About Us: The Sisters of the Good Samaritan Foundation’s ministries provide refuge, education, and hope to vulnerable women and children in the Philippines, Kiribati, Timor Leste, and Australia. Our mission is to make a positive impact in the lives of those in need, offering support and resources where they are most needed.
We are looking for an experienced Company Secretary to volunteer with us and join the Good Sams Foundation’s Board. Your experience in a similar role and passion for social justice will support us in an important growth phase as we apply for ACFID membership and DFAT accreditation.
Your responsibilities include:
Preparing and sending the agendas, papers, minutes, and actions for six Board meetings and two Member meetings per year.
Maintaining registers and fulfilling the statutory obligations of the Sisters of the Good Samaritan Foundation Ltd – reporting to ASIC, ACNC, and other bodies.
Contributing as a member of the Good Sams Foundation’s Governance subcommittee and maintenance of a compliance and policy register.
A law degree and legal background would be advantageous.
